A's salvage series versus Braves with 5-4 victory      After being hammered Friday night and losing a tough one Saturday night, the Mentium Athletics got it together Sunday evening at the Thompson Field of Dreams in Conyers.  Eric Maust pitched 7 outstanding innings, striking out 12 and yielding only 1 earned run, for the A's.  After Windward rallied in the top of the eighth inning to tie the score, Mentium answered back with a run in the bottom half of the inning.
Marty Rover led off the inning with a bunt single.  Josh Wilson then followed with another single.  After a fielder's choice, Daniel Merck sent a liner into right field to score Rover with the eventual game winning run.  In addition to the game winning hit, Merck hit a solo home run to lead off the 5th inning for the A's and had two RBI.  Wilson (1-0) picked up the victory in relief for Mentium.
