MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The University of West Alabama's Rob Dahlberg continues to add to his accomplishments, as the Tiger baseball standout was named to the 2009 Daktronics All-American Baseball Third Team, as announced by the organization. This marks the second straight season that Dahlberg has appeared on the organizations All-American Teams, earning Second Team laurels last season.

Dahlberg, a Gilbertown, Ala.-native, concluded his four-year career as the school's all-time leader in games played, at-bats, runs, hits and stolen bases and is ranked in the top five all-time in seven additional categories. Dahlberg finished the 2009 season as the team leader in hits with 81 and stolen bases with 30 along with being second on the team in RBI with 60.

In his four seasons, Dahlberg has been named to the Gulf South Conference East Division First Team three consecutive seasons and has received all-conference honors all four years. He was the 2008 GSC East Division Player of the Year and 2006 GSC East Division Freshman of the Year. Last season, Dahlberg has racked up additional All-American honors from Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association and Collegiate Baseball Writers.
